Chaplaincy in Government
The Mountain of Government has many applications considering there are many institutions with governmental systems in place. For our purpose, we have chosen the political Mountain of Government because it deals with the nation. Government began with the church. In the process of time, the church has abandoned Government to the politicians and now holds the view that Christians should not be involved in politics, but in reality, we believe that politics is a God venture.
Every chaplain serving in this sphere completes 400 hours of training, with added preparation for the realities of public service.
How our chaplains serve
The Chaplain must be prepared to provide spiritual and emotional care to politicians, provide assistance that may be required, without prejudice to any party and offer the ministry of presence to parliament during times of crisis among other service as required.
