Global Chaplaincy Center, Bahamas

Who we are
Our Fundamental Characteristics
GCCB Chaplains are professionals who are trained in the Ministry of presence as well as spiritual, mental and emotional care.
Our Chaplains are trained to deal with adverse emotions of powerlessness, pain, and alienation, assisting people to cope positively and peacefully with all manner of situations. We comfort those in despair and extend hope wherever possible. It is our belief that every person should be treated with kindness, respect and understanding irrespective of their faith, race, disability or ethnic origin. Our services are available to all.

Passionate and Dedicated Service Above Self
Service above self is choosing the well-being of others before your own, while still honoring healthy self-care. It is lived out through everyday actions—recognizing a need and meeting it without expectation of recognition, choosing what benefits others over personal gain, and offering the simple yet powerful gift of listening.
True service is passionate, intentional, and rooted in the heart. It extends care to people of every faith, race, and ethnic background, even when it is inconvenient. Our Chaplains see individuals, not assignments. Through spiritual, mental and emotional care, they embody what it truly means to go above and beyond for the good of others.
